Soil: Good Drainage, with peat moss, loam and coarse sand or perlite. Cactus mix is great
Repotting: As stater plants, they are not fully mature and need to establish a strong root system.
When potting your starter plants, you only want to re-pot them up to 1 pot sizes larger.
They Bloom easier when they are almost rootbound and crowded.

Spring and Summer:
Keep soil moist, but not overwatered.
Feed with a regular flowing fertilizer.
Fall (September/October)
Reduce the amount of moisture as the temperatures drop.
Temperature around 60°-65° at night.
Allow 12-14 hours of total darkness at night not even artificial light.
During the day give them sun until the buds begin to form.
Blooming Time Frame: 10 to 12 weeks
Flower Buds:
Increase moisture and give fertilizer once the flower buds start emerging.
Keep the cactus in the same environment for blooming as movement or change can cause bud drop.
