Growth Habit: dwarf deciduous shrub

Flower Size: Clusters of 3-5 inches
Flower Color: (2) bicolor pink to purple/blue with a light white border
Bloom Time: Summer, Late Summer, Early Fall
Soil: Prefers moist, well-drained
Soil pH: Acidic, Neutral, Alkaline Note adding lime to the soil (alkaline) makes pinker blooms while adding aluminum sulfate causes more (acidic) soils and more lavender-blue flowers.
Use: As a specimen, accent, hedge, or screen.
Pruning/Trimming: Shear annually after flowering to maintain the desired shape.
Moisture: needs a regular water schedule to ensure the growth of a mature root system.
