Flower Color/Shape: Clusters produces clusters of red floral tubes with yellow-orange centers, on reddish-purple stems blooms spring through early fall.
Butterflies sometimes enjoy the floral nectar, and songbirds relish the juicy fruits.
Growth Habit: ‘Compacta’ very manageable mounding shrub
Sun Exposure: Full Sun / Partial Shade Amount of Water: Water regularly, when top 3 in. of soil is dry.
Soil Conditions: Well-drained
Provide rich, well-drained soil in full sun. Best with part shade in hot inland areas. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system.
